Southern Italy / Italia del Sur

IMG_9632Arriving at Bari , I felt as if returning to a village in the French Mediterranean . After a few visited places , cities end up looking like me . The main difference between Bari and elsewhere in the South is the large number of altars to the Virgin Mary . I had the impression of seeing one at each corner . At the end altars, are confused with the blue sky, ice cream, pizzas and more have crossed hospitable people .

Each day spent in the south , I was more eager to return . An excursion to Poligliano del Mare and Alberobello, make me think of the ” dolce vita “. What to say more , every place has its charm, the route full of cactus, olive groves , beaches , turquoise water. The terraces, quiet people
Suddenly , worries leave , Parisian life is back. The landscapes and people that I cross make me think of the possibility of living the life I want to live and the relationships I want to find .

  1. I just came from a few days in Polignano and I can’t tell you how much I miss it. I visited a lot of other places in Puglia and can’t wait to write on them 🙂
